With great pleasure, after a two-summer absence, we welcome back Fr. Remmy from Zambia for the month of August. On January 1st of this year, Fr. Remmy was transferred from St. Patrick’s where he had been for many years to St. John the Baptist in a different location. As always when transferred to a new parish, he encountered many immediate needs at the parish and for his personal life. Stay tuned to learn about our brothers and sisters and their needs at his new parish.
Good Shepherd offers an opportunity to come together to learn more about our faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of Church and prepare individuals to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist during the Easter season. There are separate sessions for children or youth as part of the Children’s Faith Formation program. You are welcome to join us to share your questions, your insights and your faith story. A new journey begins in September 2022. Click for details.
Parishioners are invited to host the Chalice for one week in their home. The program aims to help parishioners become more aware of the need for vocations and to pray for vocations, especially those God might be calling from our Parish family. Parishioners will receive the Chalice at the 6 PM Mass.
