Backpacks and School Supplies For Those In Need
The Backpack and School Supplies Ministry collects and packs as many as 500 backpacks and school supplies donated by Good Shepherd parishioners for local low-income K-12 students.

The supplies and backpacks are distributed to students through organizations such as:
- Goodnews Outreach
- St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (Quincy)
- New Hope International Outreach Ministries (Crawfordville)
- Children's Family Home
- Boys Town
- [Gretchen] Everhart School
