Exciting News from the Haiti Outreach Ministry!
“Raising Livestock, Raising Hope in Haiti” Fundraiser – May 24–25
 
May 24–25, our Haiti Outreach Ministry will launch its inspiring “Raising Livestock, Raising Hope in Haiti” fundraising appeal to support sustainable agriculture in our sister parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) of Lafond.  Don’t forget we will have goats here after the 10:15 AM and Noon Masses for kids and adults alike to enjoy!
 
At the request of Father Rousseau, this year’s focus will be on three vital initiatives:
 
¨ Purchasing 30 goats and up to 10 cows to expand OLPH’s growing livestock program.
 
¨ Providing bulk bags of chicken feed, essential medicines, and vitamins to support the parish’s poultry enterprise—originally funded by Good Shepherd!
 
¨ Helping the church offer these supplies for resale to local poultry farmers, reducing their travel burden and boosting community access.
 
¨ Not only does this support local farmers, but the church is also able to generate income—$1,200 every 42 days!—which directly funds parish operations and programs.
