The mission of the Divorce Ministry is to provide support, healing, hope and fellowship to those dealing with the challenges of separation, divorce and annulment. We strive to bring healing, reconciliation, and new life through the Word of God.
He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. - 2 Corinthians 1:4 (NLT) 4.
The Divorce Ministry has several goals:
· Foster spiritual growth and prayer life as recovery from divorce trauma;
· Promote fellowship among active and disenfranchised divorced members;
· Offer classroom-based curriculum and support groups to those interested in recovery from divorce, including support to separated and divorced parents raising children; and
· Contribute to community service projects, helping those isolated and less fortunate.
“Lord, I trust in your power and grace that sustain and restore me. Loving Father, touch me now with your healing hands, for I believe that your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit.”
For any questions about annulments and/or information on the annulment process, please reach out to Good Shepherd's diocesen certified contacts: Margaret & Deacon Jerry Haynes at [email protected] or 850-443-1294.
