Speaker: Charles Imbriani, PhD
Dr. Imbriani was born and raised in New York City, Charlie joined the Marine Corps at 17 right after High School, and spent most of his four years on deployments between the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Charlie holds a BA in Italian from St. John’s University in New York, which included one year at Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. (The Catholic University of Milan). He spent the next 27 years working for Pan American World Airways at JFK, and the next 10 years working for Delta Air Lines where he managed in St. Petersburg, Russia, after the fall of the Soviet Union. He also managed Delta’s operation in Gainesville, and Tallahassee Florida before he retired. Charlie hold a BA from FSU in History, and an MA and PhD in the Humanities (FSU) with a major in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies. Charlie taught humanities at FSU as a graduate teaching assistance for 7 years.
