More info about Oleksandra Matviichuk: Since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she has relentlessly documented Vladimir Putin’s war crimes and human rights violations. Her work exposes the staggering breadth of Russia’s atrocities, including systemic violence against women, the kidnapping and forced re-education of Ukrainian children, the persecution of religious leaders and the deliberate destruction of cultural and religious heritage.
Matviichuk will present the latest report from the war in Ukraine and examine Putin’s war of aggression and human rights atrocities, such as the burning of churches and killing of religious leaders. The conversation will center around Putin’s war on faith and religion.
