Garner a better understanding of the movement towards Restored order of the Sacraments!
Charlie Imbriani, PhD will be giving series of Adult Faith lectures on religious topics to garner greater understanding of our diocese implementation of “Restored Order” of the Sacraments.
All parishioners are invited, especially the parents of children who are preparing to receive the Sacraments of Christian Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and The Eucharist (First Communion). We also invite our Catechists, and those who are signing up as facilitators in conjunction with the “Restored Order” introduction.
The topics we will be covering are: Misconceptions and corrections on the Sacrament of Confirmation, the Restored Order.
* The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC), its structure, how to negotiate CCC and how to teach from it. * Scripture and Divine Tradition, Treasury of Faith, The Teaching Authority of the Church. * Doctrine, the Creeds * The Trinity * Grace, Actual and Sanctifying. * The Sacraments * Eucharist * Worship – Public (Liturgy), and Private * Mary
Class dates will be held: Tuesdays, 10:00 - 11:30 AM, on the following dates: April 22, April 29, May 6, May 13, May 20, May 27, June 3, and June 17.
Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 PM, on the following dates: April 23, April 30, May 7, May 14, May 21, May 28, June 4, and June 18.
